These reactions have included urticaria, pruritus, skin rash, flushing, angioedema, various GI symptoms ( abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea), fever, arthralgia, serum sickness and wheezing. Hypersensitivity to levothyroxine (the active ingredient contained in Eltroxin) itself is not known to occur. [ Ref]
