Arabs reside in the Middle-East part and some parts in North Africa whereas Indians live in the South Asian country, India. Arabs follow the Islamic religion whereas the majority of the Indians follow Hinduism. The language spoken by Arabs is Afro-Asiatic while, Indians speak the Hindi language.

Why do Hindi and Arabic have similar words?

India and the Arab region have a world of cultural overlap. These hindi words sound just like Arabic. It is a process known as syncretism , or the blending of cultures. As The Economist puts it, Arabic and Hindi seem to be “joined at birth.” Here are some Hindi words that are also Arabic.
