Lima and the surrounding capital district are home to most expats in the country. They are attracted by job and business opportunities, the vibrant cultural attractions, the wonderful cuisine, and often, love. Many Peruvian-American couples can be found around the country and Lima is no exception.

How easy is it to move to Peru?

Entering Peru is easy; staying there takes more planning. When you first enter the country, you can stay up to a maximum of 183 days. Be sure that this is the amount of time that is given to you. Although it is possible to obtain some visas within a month or two, the process may be delayed for unforeseen reasons.
