While the whey-casein combo is a great post-workout choice, a brand-new study published in the Journal of Nutrition suggests that a combination of whey, casein, and soy proteins may be even better. While whey has a fast digestion rate and casein has a slow digestion rate, soy digests at a rate somewhere in between the two.
