The Treasury is a safe way to store resources, as very little can be stolen. If you have a low amount of resources in your storages, it is better to keep any loot you get in your Treasury there, because you will then have less loot available for attackers.
Do elixir collectors work while upgrading?
During the upgrade the collector temporarily stops producing Elixir. Once the Elixir Collector is level 5, you can temporarily boost its production with Gems or a Resource Potion. Level 1-4 Elixir Collectors cannot be boosted with Gems, but can still be boosted using a Resource Potion.
