Is Gabi a female version of Eren?

In Isayama’s Bessatsu Shonen August 2017 interview, he confirms that Gabi is based on this female version of Eren he drew several years ago! I even reblogged the post myself a few months back because many people were saying that Gabi looked like that, haha.

Is Gabi based off of Eren?

The young version of Eren is very similar to Gabi. In fact, Attack on Titan’s creator Hajime Isayama has admitted Gabi’s design is based on a sketch of a female Eren. Granted, Gabi is a girl and her eye color is different from Eren’s, but the physical similarities between the two characters are still remarkable.

Does Eren ever go to Marley?
