Is ECE a good branch for placement?

ECE is the All- Rounder Branch of Engineering: Advantage comes in Job and placement too. Electronics and Communication Engineering jobs represent over 50\% of all available jobs in engineering! If IT job is your destination, then there is no need to master programming languages.

How is NSUT ECE placements?

Placements: More than 90\% of students get placed. The highest package goes around 45 LPA and the lowest package is around 6 LPA. 100\% of the students get internships from companies like Qualcomm, Honda, Birla, Google, Hero etc.

How is placement of ECE in DTU?

ECE, the placement rate is around 95\%, and the average salary package offered was 13 LPA. The highest salary package offered in our branch was 49 LPA. The placement cell here is very good, supportive and helpful. If you are looking for good placements, then this college is for you.

Placements: Around 87.73\% of the students from the ECE branch of undergraduate course got placed in 2019-2020 from our college. The highest salary package offered here was 43.33 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 10.17 LPA.

Highest package to a ECE student of batch 2016 from NSIT was 26lacs and that was in a software company. But in core Electronics company it was 15.9lacs (PPO) and 14.9lacs in placement session and that was offered by Texas Instruments. Highest packages are mostly in software companies which would increase average package of the branch.

If 100 companies visited (hypothetical number actual was way higher) around 75 will come for computer-related jobs or CS jobs out of which 68–70 companies will allow ECE students to sit so placement in a good CS company is not a that hard job if you work hard.
