Is 4 years work experience good for MBA?

Though there exists no rule of thumb, yet a work experience of around two years is considered optimum when it comes to placements. The right time to pursue MBA should be decided by the individual based on his/her current situation in life and what can he/she extract out of it.

Is it OK to put MBA after your name?

In general, you should not list the concentration details after your name. Stating MBA will suffice. Also, there are many different types of MBA programs. For example, there are executive MBAs, online MBAs, Internationational MBAs, and standard MBA programs.

Can I do Executive MBA after 1 year of experience?

Yes, you can do. But, there are very fewer colleges that provide with the course after 1 year of experience. Usually, the criteria is of minimum of 2 years of experience. I myself have pursued the executive MBA course from this university named ITM University.

How to choose the right MBA course for You?

The important thing is to choose the course as per their qualification, need and position. If you are a fresh graduate, it is advisable to go for the regular MBA programme and if you are a working professional with up to five years of work experience, Executive MBA will be more suitable to you.

When is the right time to pursue MBA?

There can be no thumb rule as to when one should pursue MBA. It’s a choice one needs to make based on one’s circumstances and goals. Your past does have some effect, but it will majorly be the output you extract out of those two years at a b-school, which will determine the value of an MBA for you.
