Manage your time efficiently. Initially, it will be difficult to prepare for long hours, but as time progresses, you should study for 7 to 8 hours daily to crack IES exam.

The gap between prelims and mains is more than 5 months. (which is sufficient for mains preparation) But to reach the second stage first you have to crack the first stage i.e. prelims stage.. If you have 6 months time from today onwards to prelims then you have sufficient time to crack prelims.
