In the States, many churches are only unlocked when there is a liturgy or other event going on, or at least staff on site.

The Church can play a vital role in Christians helping others as they provide: food banks – a place where people living in poverty can go and collect some food. Salvation Army – a Christian denomination who help those who are suffering.

Why do I get sleepy in church?

Energy begets energy and that is why we sing and stand a lot. Singing gets us oxygenating the blood which enervates us and awakens the mind connecting synapses. If someone doesn’t sing, they don’t receive that benefit. People tend to go out to breakfast or get up early for church and that contributes to sleepiness.
