Why Iqas is not accepting applications?
IQAS has not been accepting applications for ECA since 19 November 2020 to reduce their processing time. They are expected to re-open soon.

Member. We are not accepting new International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) applications under the Immigration Stream at this time. This is a temporary pause from November 19, 2019 to May 19, 2020 to reduce processing times.

As stated earlier, WES has the shortest processing time, making it the fastest ECA organization. On the other hand, IQAS has the longest processing time. But the processing time of any ECA organization is not fixed.

With regards to both programs, it is IQAS’s policy that we do not assess distance education credentials from India which are completed at study centers outside the state of the awarding institution.

On average, an assessment takes about 14 weeks to process once all required documents, transcripts and payments are delivered to IQAS.

No. Only the Canadian Immigration Assessment Report will be accepted by IRCC. If you have previously received an ICAS Assessment Report, you will need to upgrade your report. If you have already received an ICAS Assessment Report, you can upgrade your report to the Canadian Immigration Assessment Package.
