Why do people use Ubuntu instead of Debian?
Ubuntu is kind of more simplified version as it has a good and easy user interface so that might be the reason that people might prefer Ubuntu over Debian. In my experience, Ubuntu is the easiest and the most “noob friendly” of all distros and yet it is quite stable and well finished.
