Why do I care so much about being judged?

Why do I care so much about being judged?

People go to self-defeating lengths to elude the possibility of being negatively judged by others. They avoid telling people what they want to tell them. They don’t speak up in class or at work meetings. They avoid telling their lover their true desires.

What is the problem with judging others?

Judgement makes you Self-Critical The more you judge others, the more you judge yourself. By constantly seeing the bad in others, we train our minds to find the bad. This can lead to increase in stress.

What are the effects of being judged by others?

Being judged by others can be a painful experience. It’s one of the few things that is guaranteed to evoke a seriously strong emotional reaction in most people. That’s because it hits the ego (and the heart!) hard. The judgement of others can send us into painful feelings such as frustration, anger, hate, hurt, insecurity, fear or despair.

Why does judgement hurt so badly?

That’s because it hits the ego (and the heart!) hard. The judgement of others can send us into painful feelings such as frustration, anger, hate, hurt, insecurity, fear or despair. And being judged is actually unavoidable, right?

Is someone’s judgement just life showing you what you need to heal?

If so, then someone’s judgement is just LIFE SHOWING YOU WHAT YOU NEED TO HEAL WITHIN. Bernadette Logue (known to everyone as “B”) is the Leader of The Daily Positive, a Transformation Life Coach and the author of 3 personal growth books – guiding you on how to master your mind, to live consciously and soul-aligned.

How do you deal with people judging you?

You don’t need them to accept you or the situation, you need to come to your own acceptance of yourself and the situation. You can’t stop them judging, so focus all your energy on detaching. AND… whenever you get REALLY triggered by someone judging you, consider that perhaps you’re so upset because it hit a raw nerve.
