What was so special about the Garden of Eden?

The beautiful garden containing the tree of life, where God intended Adam and Eve to live in peaceful and contented innocence, effortlessly reaping the fruits of the Earth. The garden also contained the tree of knowledge of good and evil, from which Adam and Eve were forbidden to eat.

What did the Garden represent?

Gardens are also thought of as an image of the soul and innocence. It also symbolizes consciousness because of its enclosed characteristics, as opposed to the forest. Gardens are commonly considered feminine and represent fertility. Lastly, these places are symbols of happiness, salvation, and purity.

Jews DO NOT believe in original sin. Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden because if they remained, they could eat the fruit of the Tree of Life, which would make them immortal. If Adam and Eve had to eat the fruit of the Tree of Life to become immortal, then they were created mortal.
