What is thrust mode?

In the thrust mode the engine is maintained at a fixed power setting according to the different flight phases. When the A/T is working in thrust mode, speed is controlled by pitch (or the control column), and not by the A/T. A radar altimeter feeds data to the autothrottle mostly in this mode.

What is the difference between auto throttle and auto thrust?

In a typical aircraft having an auto-thrust system, the throttle has some three or four settings (notches) where they can be engaged. The only difference is that the throttle position does not change in the cockpit and the adjustments are done through electrical signals.

Speed mode is an Autopilot mode , in vertical profile . Thrust mode is controlled by Auto thrust computer. it is not an autopilot mode. Though both affect speed, in speed mode speed is adjusted by Attitude of the aircraft.

The go-around setting is used during the approach. On Airbus aircraft, it does not disengage the autopilot but causes it to stop following the ILS and to perform the go-around maneuver automatically.
