What is difference between Epgp and PGP?

The two-year MBA of IIMs is called Post Graduate Programme (PGP). So you began to hear of Post Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX) and Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)—different names for the One Year Full Time MBA at IIMs.

What is the difference between IIM and ISB?

IIMs had only a less number of seats for their PGPX programs, while ISB has more than 700 seats for the aspirants which made the candidates attracted toward it. Unlike IIMs the selection criteria was not too strict which allowed the ISB to gain confidence. But it is not possible for everyone to get an admission at ISB.

How can I get into IIM B Epgp?

Eligibility criteria for IIMB EPGP admission

  1. You must be a graduate with at least 50\% CGPA. (For SC, ST and PwD category applicants, the minimum CGPA requirement is 45\%)
  2. You must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience as on March 31, 2020.
  3. You must have a valid GMAT or GRE score.

Is ISB PGP equivalent to MBA?

The flagship course at the ISB, which is the equivalent of an MBA, is called PGP (post-graduate program in management). Besides their flagship PGP program, ISB offers the following post-graduation programs in management: PGP for working professional, PGP for Senior Executives, PGP in Management for Family Business.

Are ISB placements good?

Students received good CTC packages in Placements 2021 like in past years. The final placement report of ISB Placements 2021 is released. In the report, the highest CTC was INR 72 LPA & the average CTC was INR 27.13 LPA. The median CTC of INR 27 LPA was offered to the 2020-21 batch.

What is the difference between ISB and IIM EPGP?

The ISB class is much bigger (800 – 900 students) and average work-ex is around 3 – 4 years. If you a senior executive with 8 – 12 years of work experience and want to opt for peer learning, IIMs could be a better option than ISB. After ISB, IIM EPGP seems the second-best or the best among IIMs.

Why is the average salary at IIMA-PGPX higher than ISB?

It would be obvious that considering the notable difference in the average work experience of the class between the two, the salaries would also differ. Those with a higher experience would draw bigger paychecks, which is why the average salary at IIMA-PGPX tends to be greater than ISB.
