Is it OK to work out 4 times a day?

It’s safe to work out twice a day as long as you follow a well-structured program. If you don’t take enough time to rest between workouts, you may end up with an injury. There’s also the chance of getting burned out by working out twice a day.

Is working out 4 days a week enough?

Training four or five times a week is ideal, but most people find that unachievable due to time constraints, so Mans says it’s best to aim for three: “This exposes your body to a large enough training stimulus throughout the week, which enables the body to adapt, get stronger, leaner and fitter.”

How do I start a workout routine?

As you begin your fitness program, keep these tips in mind:

  1. Start slowly and build up gradually. Give yourself plenty of time to warm up and cool down with easy walking or gentle stretching.
  2. Break things up if you have to.
  3. Be creative.
  4. Listen to your body.
  5. Be flexible.
