Is Eero worth the money?
Purchasing an Eero router is definitely worth it as it offers great coverage, customization, support, and integration while still remaining on the higher end of affordability.
What is the purpose of Eero?
eero is a mesh system that brings wifi down halls, around walls, and to every corner of your home. Unlike a traditional router—which can leave some rooms out of wifi’s reach—an eero system uses multiple devices that work together harmoniously to send connection in every direction.
Does eero replace your router?
eero doesn’t replace your modem, it replaces your router. The first eero plugs into your existing cable or DSL modem. If you have a combination modem/router, you’ll be using that as a modem and disabling the routing function by putting it in bridge mode. Additional eeros just need power from a standard outlet.
How many eero pros can be connected?
One eero can support up to 128 devices (you read that right). That’s one very connected home. However, if those devices are heavily using the Internet for activities like streaming video, you’ll probably see best results using up to 30 devices with each eero.
Will eero make my Internet faster?
Using Eero can often increase your Wi-Fi speeds because you can add Eero Wi-Fi extenders called Beacons around your house. This way, your Wi-Fi speeds won’t slow down when you are far from your router. Your Wi-Fi speeds should remain the same or comparable when extended through an Eero Beacon.
Can eero see search history?
Our eeros and eero app collect data to help us operate, maintain, and improve your entire eero WiFi system. We may share anonymized data (crash reports, aggregate metrics) as we improve the product, but we don’t ever track the websites you visit or collect the content of your network traffic.
Can I have too many Eeros?
You can add as many eeros or eero Beacons to your home as you’d like! When figuring out the optimal number of eeros for your home, take your home’s layout into consideration. This includes length, number of rooms, and any potential interference-inducing obstacles like brick walls, large appliance or metal doors.

Every home is unique, and eero was designed to be flexible so that it can be a fit for any home. Generally, we recommend 1-2 eeros per floor or one eero for every 1,000 square feet, with a limit of 3 total beacons.
How long does an Eero last?
Amazon, which owns the popular Eero brand of routers, put the range at three to four years.
Why is my Eero internet so slow?
Slow internet speeds can be caused by a number of things. Your router could be outdated or it could be too far away from your TV or computer, for example. Those fixes may be as easy as restarting your modem and router or upgrading to a mesh network. But another reason for your slow Wi-Fi could be bandwidth throttling.
