On the Day of Pentecost, one hundred and twenty (120) believers and the apostles gathered together in the upper room in Jerusalem. They were there for ten (10) days, waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit.

As mentioned earlier, the disciples were told by Jesus to wait for the Holy Spirit because the day of Pentecost had not fully come yet, however, this is not the pattern for us to follow today.
