Does Nptel refund exam fee?
We will refund 80\% of the exam fees you had paid, with 20\% retained by NPTEL towards admin costs. Refund will be initiated only after exams are concluded (after June 25).
Can we cancel Nptel exam registration?
Once you have registered for a particular exam, it is final as the form will become uneditable. So please think and choose the subject carefully while you register for the exam. It cannot be changed once registered.

How do I Unenroll from a course in Swayam?
If you want to unenroll for any of the course you need to login in their portal using your email address and password. You can see the list of the courses you have enrolled. Click on the course you wish to unenroll and unenroll. You cannot unenroll if you the course has already been started.
What happens if you get a fee waiver from NPTEL?
If these students pass the exam, the fee waiver amount will be refunded to them. NPTEL will provide the CSR organization with the list of colleges who had applied for fee waiver. After the fees has been refunded, NPTEL will also provide the details of candidates who have received this waiver.
Can I join more than one NPTEL course at a time?
Yes.You may join for any number of NPTEL courses you wish but you can write exams only for a maximum of six courses per semester. You can take one exam in the forenoon session and another during the afternoon session on the same day.
Does NPTEL give refund on marks in Computer Science exam?
Yes they give refund but for that you have to stay in contact with local chapters of your college before registering for exam & after getting result. Refund are for those only who are part of NPTEL local chapters. I completed a course this time in computer science stream with 75\% .
Should I do NPTEL If I have gold medal in BTech?
Thanks for A2A. There is no benefit of having Gold Medal even in B.Tech as well, if you fail to impress your interviewer in the interview. Do not try to complete the NPTEL courses, just for the sake of getting marks and medals. Try to gain the practical knowledge and your hands-on on the acquired concepts.
