Do headphones sound better with audio interface?

The short answer is YES. Using an external USB audio interface (sometimes correctly refered to as a USB DAC) for listening through headphones noticeably improves the sound. Many better USB DACs offer fantastic sound improvement.

Well, the obvious answer is “yes, it can!” Besides expanding your setup’s inputs and outputs, it also significantly improves your audio signals’ overall quality.
