Jesus is important to us because through His Atonement, teachings, hope, peace, and example, He helps us change our lives, face our trials, and move forward with faith as we journey back to Him and His Father.

In Matthew 24:37 Jesus says that His coming “will be just like in the days of Noah.” What the Lord is saying here is, “I’m going to come back in a time when the earth is in as bad a shape as it was in the days of Noah.” In other words, world society will go full circle and return to being as evil as it was in those days.
