What will happen to the world if the people are emotionless?

If there were no emotions there would be no happiness or hope and thus no point to life; you would never be able to enjoy anything which would take all meaning out of life.

What would humans be like without emotion?

Our survival depends on the most basic emotions: anger, fear, happiness and surprise. In fact all macro-organisms usually have these. Without these, the will to survive wouldnt exist. Human beings would live in apathy to the world around them and any harm coming to them.

Why is it bad to not show emotion?

“Suppressing your emotions, whether it’s anger, sadness, grief or frustration, can lead to physical stress on your body. The effect is the same, even if the core emotion differs,” says provisional clinical psychologist Victoria Tarratt. “We know that it can affect blood pressure, memory and self-esteem.”

Is it better to be emotional?

Emotional health is an important part of overall health. People who are emotionally healthy are in control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. They’re able to cope with life’s challenges. They can keep problems in perspective and bounce back from setbacks.

Why do we need to be more emotional to save the world?

We have learned that emotions can be harnessed to guide us toward rational choices and cooperative action. These emotions – which include feelings of empathy, gratitude, and awe – evolved to help manage social relationships with others and orient humans to a world that is bigger than themselves.

What would the world be like without emotions?

Without emotions, our lives as humans would be void and pointless, with no motivation or inspiration to do great things. We would live in a dull world where nothing had meaning. Ambition would be not captured or understood and we would operate like robots or artificial intelligence. Think of emotions as colour.

Should we control our emotions?

Control, diminish, and detour the bad ones, and hold, manipulate, and extend the good ones. We must control our emotions so that we could serve the higher ones such as fulfillment and happiness, but we don’t want emotions to be abolished.

What happens when you don’t express your emotions?

They bottle up, eventually overflow and can cause uncontrolled outbursts. Also, even if there is no outburst, they can cause stresses to our psyche which produce neurotic symptoms like anxiety and depression. We are emotional creatures by nature, so if we don’t allow emotional expression, it’s like not allowing a stream to flow into a lake.
