What does the Bible say about God allowing evil?

Question: “Why does God allow evil?”. Answer: The Bible describes God as holy (Isaiah 6:3), righteous ( Psalm 7:11), just ( Deuteronomy 32:4), and sovereign (Daniel 4:17-25). These attributes tell us the following about God: (1) God is capable of preventing evil, and (2) God desires to rid the universe of evil.

Why is there so much evil?

Why is there so much evil? Because God is good. He permits evil because he is loving enough to let people make up their own minds about him. He even let the angels decide, and so now there is a devil warring with his armies against the Church. But make no mistake. God will let the devil and his evil angels go only so far.

Does evil have a purpose in life?

Evil can ultimately have a good purpose because of the sovereignty of God. What I mean by the sovereignty of God is his absolute right, power and de facto intention to govern all things according to the counsel of his will, without any decisive influence from outside his will.
