Which branch is better CSE or ECE?
Answer. Both are equivalently good sector. CSE course will be easy through out your 4 years but ECE will be very tough. Any branch that is integrated with electronics is named as an evergreen branch of engineering.
How does EECS help with higher-degree applications?
One current (or recent graduate) in EECS will provide feedback on your statement of purpose, personal history statement, CV/resume, and other application materials in advance of higher-degree application deadlines in fall semester. This feedback will be Berkeley- and admissions-focused, as opposed to grammar or formatting advice.
Can I take a 4 Unit Technical course in EECS?
Students cannot have the course counted toward the 20 units of upper-division EECS or toward the 4 unit technical elective if counted toward the natural science elective. Choose a lower or upper div 4 unit technical course in one of the following departments: Astro, Chem, Data Sci, EPS, IB, Math, MCB, Physics, PMB, Stat, or any Engin dept.
Do I need to retake courses for upper division EECS?
Students cannot have the course count toward the 20 units of upper-division EECS or toward the natural science elective if this course is counted toward the 4 unit STEM elective requirement. You do not need to retake courses for which you received advanced placement credit (see the Berkeley Engineering Undergraduate Guide ).
Does c191 count as an elective in EECS?
Physics C191/Chem C191/CS C191 can be counted toward the natural science elective. Students cannot have the course counted toward the 20 units of upper-division EECS or toward the 4 unit technical elective if counted toward the natural science elective.
