Can you tell how tall someone is from a picture?

Yes it is possible to calculate someone’s height from a picture if in the picture there is some point of reference. If the person is holding a full meter stick then we can use ratio and proportion to get his height. If the person is standing near a door then we can compare his height to a standard door.
