Can you do Open University while at uni?
You can apply at any time but Open University modules start at set times during the year. You will need to apply to your partner university in plenty of time to allow you to register on the scheme and for your first OU module.
Is an Open University open degree respected?

All OU students are considered part-time students. That means, even if you choose to study at full-time equivalent intensity, you’ll be a part-time student and your eligibility to claim existing state benefits and/or to fund your studies with a Part-Time Tuition Fee loan will usually be unaffected.
Is an OU degree worth it?
The Open University is a very valuable instition. It’s fully accredited and therefore approved by the Government. Can I get a maintenance loan for Open University?
