Can a Straight Talk iPhone be unlocked?

If you bought or lease a phone from Straight Talk, it will be locked so you can only use it with the Straight Talk network. However, you should be able to request an unlock after 12-months of service. We’ve also have specific tutorials for unlocking iPhones and Samsung phones.

Can you carrier unlock a Straight Talk iPhone?

If you want to use the phone with another carrier, you’ll need to have the device unlocked first. Straight Talk will unlock phones of current and former Straight Talk customers without charge. Non-former customers may request unlocking, but Straight Talk may charge a reasonable fee.

No. The phone would need to be unlocked to work with an ATT SIM card and Straight Talk requires 12 months of service to unlock.
