Can a hobbit marry an elf?
There is no evidence of Elves ever breeding with Hobbits. There was a rumor that one of the Tooks had at some point taken a “fairy” wife, which I interpret to mean an Elf, but it was just silliness. There is also no evidence of Dwarves ever breeding with any other race and I suspect that it was not possible.
