If Sauron had won the war for Middle-Earth and had annihilated the Children of Illuvatar, the Valar would have to consult Eru and if he intervenes, the Valar can send its host to Middle Earth to destroy the armies of Sauron and imprison Sauron. Or Eru himself will intervene and destroy the armies of Sauron.

Could Sauron have defeated the Valar?

Sauron had orcs and trolls but morgoth had balrogs and dragons. There’s no comparison between the two at all. Sauron could never compete with any of the valar.

Can Sauron conquer Valinor?
