Why did the Tyrells frame Sansa?

It was the work of the Tyrells and Littlefinger. Littlefinger wanted Sansa free of her marriage to Tyrion and to be a pawn at his disposal. The best way for that is for Tyrion to be found guilty of Joffrey’s death, and executed.

Can Sansa trust the Tyrells?

Sansa could never fully trust Margaery because she’s ‘friends’ with Cersei. But Sansa isn’t aware of this, and she wouldn’t want to confide in someone who might go back to Cersei with her secrets.
