Which stream should I Choose in 11th to get into IITs?

How many lectures do IITs give in a day?
In IIT classes are held for 5 days a week and Saturday and Sunday are totally free. So on an average we had 3–4 lectures classes per day and either one hour tutorial class or a practical. So generally by 5 PM we used to get free (in some cases as early as 3 PM).
