Many Koreans who are disillusioned by Korean society instead choose to study in the US. We love US values and many of the younger generations strive to reach that level of liberalness the US has.

There are many first generation Korean Americans that study at English speaking international schools in South Korea and they are usually a distraction, and some are hated by South Korean students. They are usually the ones drinking at age 11 and smoking cigarettes at age 13 like my younger sister. I hate her.
