There’s no way to get it back after you die in what I assume is lava. If you don’t want to lose the items you can do /gamerule keepinventory true so you won’t lose your stuff. Unless you died from fall damage, a skeleton, and any mob apart from the creeper, you can get it back my going to your death point.
