How does home automation work with IoT?

Home automation is a network of hardware, communication, and electronic interfaces that work to integrate everyday devices with one another via the Internet. Each device has sensors and is connected through WiFi, so you can manage them from your smartphone or tablet whether you’re at home, or miles away.

What is the future scope of home automation?

Future scope for the home automation systems involves making homes even smarter. Homes can be interfaced with sensors including motion sensors, light sensors and temperature sensors and provide automated toggling of devices based on conditions.

How do I automate with IoT?

How automation is connecting the IoT devices

  1. Sensors to collect the data from the environment for the IoT system to process it.
  2. Connection and identification from the device to the IoT system through an IP address.
  3. Actuators that allow the devices to take action based on data from their own sensors and network feedback.
