According to a recent study by the NPD group, 73\% of Americans over the age of 2 play video games of some kind. They are popular for a reason. They are a lot of fun, and fun is not a waste of time. The vast majority of people who play video games lead healthy, productive lives.

Is it bad to play computer games all day?

While there can be some benefits to playing video games, both on behavior and brain health, it’s not a risk-free hobby. Playing games for an extended period of time on a regular basis isn’t good for your physical health and can possibly hinder your social skills. Being active is a critical aspect of our overall health.

What successful people play video games?

Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page and Elon Musk all play video games. Should you?

  • For instance, Mark Zuckerberg caught the computer programming bug when he built his own video game as a child.
  • Larry Page and Elon Musk play video games together.
  • Kobe Bryant, Justin Bieber and Mila Kunis are all self-proclaimed gamers.
