Is CET required to become a pilot?

In order to become a pilot you need to give entrance exam definetely. There is no option for it. If you are interested in becoming IAF pilot then you need to appear for NDA exam. In that case you will be required to give entrance exam conducted by UPSC.

Is there any entrance exam for becoming a commercial pilot?

The pilot entrance exam after 12th in India is the NDA Exam. Qualifying for the NDA exam, you can join the flying branch of IAF.

Can I become pilot without jee?

No, JEE is not necessary for Pilot training. JEE main and JEE advanced are necessary for admission to IITs and IIST. You just need to do your 10+2 with physics and mathematics scoring 50\% marks and above. You need 30L to pay for your flying training.

What the entrance requirements are for that pilot course?

To undertake commercial pilot training, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid private pilot’s licence (PPL) and night rating.
  • Be 18 or older.
  • Hold a Class 1 medical certificate, which will show that you are mentally and physically fit to fly.

Radio Telephony Restricted Aero or RTR Exam is considered the toughest of exams a pilot trainee should go through, to get a commercial pilot license in India. Conducted by combined team of Wireless Planning Commission and DGCA India, the exam consists of 2 parts.

While the remaining 85\% state quota seats are allotted based on NEET scores by the state counselling authority. The admission to private colleges after NEET-UG are also done by the respective state authorities. However, only candidates must fulfil NEET domicile criteria specified by the respective states for admission to state quota seats.

Who can apply for CET exam?

A student who wants to pursue a professional degree course in medicine, dental, engineering, architecture, etc., must enroll himself / herself for a recognized CET. However, only Class XII students who have achieved requisite scores in mandatory subjects can register and appear for the test.
