How many courses can be applied in Nptel?

As on Aug 2015, we have 420 web courses and 509 video courses developed and hosted, which can be accessed freely through the website http://nptel.ac.in.The web and video courses are distributed as follows….

Can I enroll multiple courses on Swayam?

Yes, you can enroll in multiple course (MOOCs) on Swayam after registration.

Can I enroll same course twice in Nptel?

Yes, we have plans to offer the course again. More details will be available later on in the portal. Can I take a course more than once? Yes, you can sign up every time the course is offered.

How many courses we can do in Swayam?

Swayam offers more than 2,150 online courses taught by nearly 1,300 educators from over 135 Indian colleges .

How do I unregister from Nptel course?

For withdrawing from a course to which you have enrolled, login to the https://onlinecourses.nptel.ac.in portal using your email id used to enroll to the course. Click on the email id seen on the right top of the page. You will get a drop down in which there will be an option to unenroll from the course.

What happens if I fail Nptel?

So if you failed that you have to wait for next season. You can apply for NTPEL Exam for the same course in next season now. Keep an eye on the information of next session by checking the status of exam.

How many NPTEL courses can I enroll in?

You may enroll in as many NPTEL courses as you like, but you may only sit examinations for a total of six courses every semester. Active learners who have successfully used NPTEL courses are recognized as NPTEL stars. NPTEL has begun offering free soft skills training to course toppers and NPTEL stars.

When will the NPTEL exam be held this year?

For this round of NPTEL, exams will be held on 24 September and 22 October. 2 separate dates, a month apart, give you the chance to enroll for 2 courses. Also the exams will be held in 2 shifts: 9am-12 noon; Shift 2: 2pm-5pm.

How many seasons are there in NPTEL?

In an year, there will be two seasons. Going by the academic year. The first one week be starting in between Jun to August depending upon the duration of the course. There are 2/4/8 weeks courses. Visit NPTEL website ( National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) , during that time so that you can enroll in the courses.
