How does God reward those who seek Him?

God promises those who seek Him and place their faith in Him, are rewarded with heaven when they die, and abundant life in the here and now.

Will God ever leave you?

The Lord God Himself will go before you and will be with you, he will NEVER leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid and do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8. Not only does God say he will NEVER leave you nor forsake you, he also said do not be afraid. So don’t be afraid that He’ll leave you.

  7. Ask others about Him.

What are the promises of God?

God has a plan for my life — Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” God can be trusted — Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”

Because the penalty for forsaking God includes being forsaken by God, Jesus had to be forsaken by His Heavenly Father in order to pay the full consequences of our sin.
