Competitive GRE scores,high GPA , research experience, publications etc will all be considered. The Nigerians I have known have gotten into MIT as graduate students. Most of them in the field of engineering. Most of them had first class degrees from Nigerian universities ( Almost all from the University of Lagos ) .
