Once you have prepared your roll paper and it is loaded in the printer, you must make settings in the printer software in order to print. Note: Always check the ink levels before printing on roll paper, as replacing ink cartridges while the roll paper is loaded can smear the paper.

Can you print cardboard on a regular printer?

If you swap out your regular paper, place cardstock in the paper tray and print as normal, it’s possible that your printer will work just fine. Some printers have “heavy paper” settings that can be used for cardstock; others are so sensitive that you can program them for the exact weight of paper you’re using.

Do a rough cut slightly longer than you want and then trim with a rotatory trimming machine or hand held rotary trimmer and a cutting mat. That only helps if the printer is willing to deal with longer sheets.

Can I print on your art paper?

Therefore, we cannot technically recommend any of our art paper for inkjet or laser printing. However, many artists do run our papers through printers and are happy with the results. Sheets such as Watercolor and Bristol are fairly thick and printer models with a larger bend in the paper feed could pose an issue.
