So, my answer is “ yes “, it is possible to make friends . I’m sure that the staff in the psychiatric hospital had rules and protocols, and possibly they were clueless as to how we, the clients, really felt. As one man suggested, not everyone may feel like being your friend in this situation, and this is their right.
