It applies to everyone in the same manner. iii) Your dependent parents will be covered under the ESIC Scheme.

How is ESI calculated?

The rates of the ESI contribution are calculated on the wages paid. Currently, the employee contribution is 0.75\% of wages paid/payable, and employer contribution is 3.25\% of wages paid/payable.

In order to change the IP name in the ESIC portal, the employer needs to submit a request letter to their regional ESIC office. Till now there is no online process to correct name in ESI. But make sure that the request letter should be attested by the employer.
