Can Kurama come back from the dead?

Sadly, there’s no hint of Kurama coming back to life in the Boruto manga series when writing this post. So, it’s safe to say that’s how things will stay in the anime as well. In the manga, Kurama died in chapter 55, and episode 219 adapted 11 pages from the same chapter.

Will Kurama be born again?

No, he ain’t comming back. His chakra (his existence as he is made of it) was consumed and literally faded away which he himself stated. People need to accept the fact that he didn’t die like Isobu inside Rin and Yagura.

What happens after Kurama died?

After Kurama’s chakra was used, he died. The two of them had a talk in Naruto’s subconscious mind wherein Kurama bid farewell. No, sadly, he won’t come back. Tailed Beasts are basically made of chakra, so when they’re killed, they return to chakra and will be revived soon. However, Baryon mode consumes Kurama’s chakra until he die, so there’s no chakra left in him, that means he can’t be revived anymore.

If you need a person-sacrifice to revive another person, then it makes sense to need a tailed beast-sacrifice in order to revive a tailed beast. Unless Orochimaru figures out a way to find souls without DNA, he cannot revive them.

How long does it take for Kurama’s Chakra to reform?

Kurama has unparalleled chakra compared to the tailed beasts so compared to the other tailed beasts his chakra may take decades to reform again since he has the largest chakra reserves out of them all and he might, think Naruto is not around by time he comes back.
