Even if Luffy become the strongest man in One Piece anime, he cannot defeat Kaido alone based on strength. “If it is one-on-one match, Kaido will win.” that’s what people say. In land, sea and air, he is a pirate who is known as the strongest creature among all living things. No one could kill him even himself.

Did Luffy almost beat Kaido?

Luffy has already met and been defeated by Kaido once. Law, Kid, and Killer’s attacks combined barely even leaves a dent against Kaido’s tough scales.
