What would happen if the Witch King got the ring?

The Witch King was entirely under the domination of Sauron, after thousands of years of possessing one of the tainted Rings of Power. If he had ever obtained the One Ring he would have rushed back to Mordor with his prize and triumphantly presented it to the Dark Lord!

How come Aragorn was able to kick off the Witch King at Weathertop whereas Gandalf could not even stand in front of him in Return of the King?

At Weathertop, the Witch King withdrew because he calculated that he didn’t have to fight after he had stabbed Frodo with the Morgul blade. Instead, once Frodo had succombed to the blade, he would come on his own.
