What are noldor Elves?

In the works of J. R. R. Tolkien, the Noldor (also spelled Ñoldor, meaning those with knowledge in Quenya) are a kindred of High Elves who initially migrated to Valinor from Middle-earth and lived in Eldamar, the coastal region of Aman, a continent that lay west of Middle-earth.

Is sindar a Moriquendi?

Moriquendi is a term for the Avarin, Sindarin, and Nandorin Elves, but in practice is only applied to the Avari. An exception to the hierarchy of Elvish peoples is Thingol, who, though he did not complete the journey, had earlier been to Valinor.
