How can I stay fit at 13?

Physical health: Taking care of your body

  1. Exercise regularly. Teens should be physically active at least 60 minutes of every day.
  2. Eat a healthy diet.
  3. Maintain a healthy weight.
  4. Get enough sleep.
  5. Keep up with vaccinations.
  6. Brush and floss your teeth.
  7. Wear sunscreen.
  8. Don’t listen to loud music.

Is it okay for a 13-year-old to go to the gym?

Yes, most definitely. I am an 13 year old girl and love working out. Gyms are for anybody, meaning and age, weight, etc. We all go there for a couple things, losing weight, staying in shape, and/or, doing it for what you love. If you are a girl, you should try lifting. Not to much at first. It could harm you.
