Is having emotions a weakness?

False. There are stereotypes that cause a lot of harm when we think they’re true or try to conform to them: “boys don’t cry,” “girls are too emotional,” “it’s not good to show your emotions,” etc.

Where do emotions come from? The limbic system is a group of interconnected structures located deep within the brain. It’s the part of the brain that’s responsible for behavioral and emotional responses.
