Requirements:

  1. A simple Havan Kund.
  2. One bundle of mango or any other suitable wood / Dry cow dung (Keep aside three individual wood sticks as “Samidha”)
  3. Some Camphor.
  4. 250g Pure Havan Samagree.
  5. 250g Ghee (Melted)
  6. Some Prasadam e.g. (Mitai/Kheer (Sweet Rice)/ Soji/ fruit)
  7. A container with fresh water and a teaspoon.

  1. Find a quiet time in your day – first thing after your morning shower is the best time, when your mind is clear and your body is clean.
  2. Set your clay pot in your sacred space (make sure it’s wiped clean)
  3. Add ghee or your chosen fuel to the clay pot with the wick.
